Life Home Project, Phuket

As of August 11th, 2008, LawtonAsia has been providing complimentary building insurance for the Life Home Project Foundation (LHP), a local non-denominational, charitable organization. Based in Phuket, the Foundation works primarily with HIV positive mothers and their children providing accommodation where mothers can live safely in a supportive community and receive counseling and assistance. Children living at the shelter attend school or vocational training and the Life Home Project also provides a day care centre for babies and pre-school children who were orphaned by the Tsunami or suffer from HIV-related discrimination.

Scoring goals for life

By sponsoring local soccer leagues — which provide coaching for juniors — and offering sports scholarships to gifted individuals we both help develop community spirit and reward outstanding talent.

Active participation in the business community

Our work in the local business community includes organizing talks and special events in conjunction with Chambers of Commerce.

We are also regular contributors of magazine articles on topics of interest to both our clients and members of the community at large.

And of course, over the years we have given, and will continue to give, our support to local charities.
